Ilhan Omar on Saturday condemned her GOP colleagues&#8217; inaction following the recent publication by Rep. Lauren Boebert of an anti-Muslim video in which the Colorado Republican lies about the Somali-American lawmaker being mistaken for a suspected suicide bomber inside the U.S. Capitol.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These anti-Muslim attacks aren&#8217;t about my ideas but about my identity and it&#8217;s clear,&#8221; Omar (D-Minn.) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IlhanMN\/status\/1464668107251847174\">tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), she added that &#8220;your silence speaks volumes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">First day of Congress, this member who said <img src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.1.0\/72x72\/2b07.png\" alt=\"\u2b07\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/> to Steve knew nothing about me besides the fact that I was Muslim &amp; that somehow made me a terrorist to him.<\/p>\n<p>These anti-Muslim attacks aren\u2019t about my ideas but about my identity &amp; it\u2019s clear. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOPLeader?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@GOPLeader<\/a> your silence speaks volumes. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pXHHKqRhqp\">pic.twitter.com\/pXHHKqRhqp<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IlhanMN\/status\/1464668107251847174?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 27, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Boebert issued what critics <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mayawiley\/status\/1464399302361591819\">called<\/a> a &#8220;sorry not sorry&#8221; apology <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepBoebert\/status\/1464289590282498050\">via Twitter<\/a> on Friday after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XXP-gQ2zuBA\">calling<\/a> Omar (D-Minn.) a member of &#8220;the jihad squad&#8221; and falsely claiming that a Capitol police officer came urgently running into an elevator the two congresswomen shared.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What&#8217;s happening?&#8221; Boebert said in the video, which was recorded at an event in Pueblo last Saturday. &#8220;I look to my left and there she is, Ilhan Omar, and I said, &#8216;Well she doesn&#8217;t have a backpack, we should be fine.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Boebert&#8217;s story \u2014 which Omar says never happened \u2014 drew applause and cheers from the audience. Pueblo County Republican chair Leverington subsequently defended Boebert, <a href=\"https:\/\/krdo.com\/news\/2021\/11\/26\/rep-lauren-boebert-apologizes-for-derogatory-comments-about-rep-ilhan-omar\/\">saying<\/a> she &#8220;probably expressed the sentiment of many Americans.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Boebert also referred to progressive Democratic lawmakers as the &#8220;jihad squad&#8221; last week while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/11\/23\/politics\/congress-anger-house-fights\/index.html\">defending<\/a> Rep. Paul Gosar, who on November 17 was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commondreams.org\/news\/2021\/11\/17\/censure-not-enough-rights-groups-call-expulsion-gosar-after-house-vote\">censured<\/a> by the House of Representatives and stripped of his committee appointments after his office produced and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commondreams.org\/news\/2021\/11\/12\/clear-cut-case-censure-house-dems-respond-gosars-aoc-murder-video-resolution\">published<\/a> an edited anim\u00e9 video depicting the Arizona Republican murdering Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and attacking President Joe Biden with swords.<\/p>\n<p>While Democrats and at least one Republican \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/kinzinger-boebert-trash-primary-challenger-anti-muslim-tale-ilhan-omar-2021-11\">Rep.
