Starbucks workers are filing to unionize at a fast pace, with employees at five Starbucks locations in five different states having filed for a union election over the past six days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Workers in Eugene, Oregon, <\/span>filed to unionize last Friday<\/span><\/a>. Locations in Chicago and Cleveland soon followed <\/span>with their filings<\/span><\/a>. On Tuesday, workers <\/span>in Hopewell, New Jersey<\/span><\/a> filed their petitions; and, on Wednesday, workers at the North Monroe Street location in Tallahassee, Florida, also <\/span>filed for a union<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tallahassee workers\u2019 filing brings the total number of stores that <\/span>have filed to unionize over the past months to roughly 18<\/span><\/a>, with seven of those filings in just the past two weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEW: A Tallahassee Starbucks store has become the first in Florida to file for a union election.<\/p>\n
