Many see it as racist against Black people and the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) community. It will also clamp down on our rights to protest, to\u00a0roam, and to take\u00a0strike\u00a0action. <\/p>\n<p>2021 was\u00a0filled\u00a0with\u00a0protests\u00a0over the bill. Some of these\u00a0were\u00a0marred\u00a0by police violence. Courts\u00a0have\u00a0sent\u00a0some\u00a0protesters from Bristol to prison \u2013 possibly the shape of things to come. Since the Tories first unveiled the police bill, they\u2019ve made several\u00a0changes\u00a0to it. It\u2019s now even worse. So, on 15 January, people hit the streets once more to show their anger over the bill.
