WASHINGTON – Following California\u2019s lead, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker plans to phase out the sale of new gas-powered cars by 2035. The announcement, which was made Wednesday, came as part of the draft Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2030<\/a>. The plan is intended to achieve emission reduction targets under the 2008 Global Warming Solutions Act. <\/p>\n
